Harold S. Geller is the Managing Director at Ad-ID LLC, and Senior Vice Presdient Cross-Industry Workflow of American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s). As of October 2008, Ad-ID is the only advertising-coding system supported and authorized across all media by the 4A’s and the Association of National Advertisers (ANA). Harold is also responsible for ebiz for media, the 4A’s initiative to develop an electronic exchange between media buyers and sellers. He is a member of the board of the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) and speaks and writes extensively regarding digital workflow and metadata in advertising.
Harold’s advertising career spans nearly 30 years, in the United States and Canada, and he has worked in media buying/planning, account management, financial, and technology roles at MindShare, Ogilvy & Mather, and McCann Erickson, and the defunct Ted Bates and Foster Advertising. He is a graduate of radio and television broadcasting from Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
